Being a World War II spy was a daunting task. Nazi Germany’s intelligence-gathering activities were pretty intense in the 1930s. They were in accordance with Adolf Hitler’s anti-Semitic prejudices. During World War II, these activities were intensified, so the Allies had a challenging task to face the Axis intelligence gathering plans. The Allies were aware of the vulnerabilities they faced during the 1930s and one of the most dangerous was careless recruiting and inadequate planning. Therefore, Churchill’s plan ‘to set  Europe ablaze’ was undertaken by British Secret Service who developed a plan to train the agents who would do intelligence work and sabotage.
